Kelvin Beachum is a professional football player by occupation, but making a positive impact is his passion and purpose. On game day he battles in the trenches along the offensive line. Kelvin Beachum, Jr. is born in Mexia, TX

Childhood

2008

Kelvin arrives at Southern Methodist University, where he goes on to start 52 consecutive games, earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and deliver the commencement address at graduation.

7th Round “Steel”

Kelvin was selected in the seventh round (248th overall) by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2012 NFL Draft. While with the Steelers, he appeared in 44 games with 39 starts.


Jaguars

In 2016, Kelvin joins the Jacksonville Jaguars, starting 15 games at left tackle.
