Mobile TRC in Mexia
Kelvin sponsors an annual mobile teacher resource center (TRC) that serves Mexia ISD, allowing 75 teachers to “shop” the TRC for school supplies and resources for their classrooms at no cost to them. World Vision’s TRC program provides new school supplies, backpacks, clothing, and other classroom resources to students in schools across the United States with 70 percent or higher poverty rates.
TRC Sponsorship in Dallas
Kelvin sponsored two elementary schools within Dallas ISD, and specifically in the Oak Cliff community, to have access to the TRC facility in Dallas. Teachers at both campuses shopped the TRC for school supplies and resources for their classrooms. Both schools have over 90% poverty rate among students.
