For more than 40 years, United Way and the NFL have worked together to improve the lives of young people across the country. United Way of New York City, the New York Giants, and the New York Jets have partnered to impact children and families living in some of the city’s most challenged neighborhoods. In May 2018, Kelvin was honored as the United Way Hometown Hero for his impact and for rallying behind NYC communities and families.
In December 2017, Kelvin organized a toy distribution with United Way and World Vision to bring holiday cheer to families who normally must choose between their electricity bill and providing their children with presents on Christmas morning. This distribution provided 100 children in the Harlem community with toys for the holiday.
