American Airlines Pittsburgh Maintenance Base Tour
Kelvin and American Airlines invited select high school students from YouthPlaces to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)-related jobs at the American Airlines Maintenance Base in Pittsburgh. By exposing youth to interesting careers in unique fields, Kelvin hopes that they will be inspired to learn more and explore new opportunities.
YouthPlaces has a successful history of reaching and working with teens that are at-risk and under-served, improving their opportunities for a successful transition to the next phase of life. Many of these students had never seen the inside of an airplane before.
