"I don’t think you can live a faith filled life, or a Christ filled life, or a gospel filled life and see issues that are going on across our planet and sit silent. Service is about adding a smile to somebody's face, providing a meal, bringing awareness to science, technology, engineering, arts and math so young people can realize they have a great shot at being a positive contributor to the world economy. For me, it's the little things like that that really matter; to see the work completed within the lives of people that I have the opportunity to serve."

World Vision

"The need for clean water access is urgent. More than 800 children under age 5 die every day due to effects from contaminated water, poor sanitation, and unsafe hygiene. Access to clean water is a basic human right. Donating to build wells and activating friends, colleagues and the community to serve alongside me gives families across the world the opportunity to live healthily and safely. Humanity is our community, and we must all do our part."

Feeding America

"Hunger doesn't take a vacation. It's never in season or out of season. We have the ability to end hunger in our lifetime. No child, adult, or elderly person in the U.S. should have to question where their next meal is coming from. Access to healthy, nutritious food should always be an option. I’m a proud partner of Feeding America, uniting in our goal to end hunger."

"In my mind, hunger is unacceptable anywhere, but the issue has a special place in my heart when it comes to my hometown and nearby areas. More than 18,000 kids in the tri-county area face hunger on a regular basis. I’m proud of the steps we’ve taken so far to help alleviate that situation, but it’s time to take the fight against hunger to the next level. To me, being the Central Texas Food Bank’s Ambassador at Large is not just an honorary title. I plan to give it my all, bringing my time, talents and resources in the fight against hunger."

United Food Bank

"Arizona is home to me now and I feel a strong responsibility to serve others and be a catalyst for the solutions to the significant problems our communities are facing. No family should have to decide between paying their light bill or putting food on the table. Volunteering with the United Food Bank and hosting distributions throughout each year helps alleviate some of those pressures. #No1Hungry"
